Office of Commerce, Investment, & Tourism (OCIT)
This Statement has been developed by the Board to operationalize the wide charter of OCI, and specifically to focus its operation in order to enhance its effectiveness. It is also designed to avoid duplication that could arise from having a broad charter and to guard against the pitfalls of unwise government intervention. The Statement highlights the functions and activities that OCI will focus on initially, based on careful identification of key economic and social issues facing the nation, and strategies and measures to address them.
The Seoul Tourism Organization(STO) is an organization specializing in tourism and was established to promote the tourism industry and revitalize the local economy by creating a global brand for the city of Seoul to increase its recognition across the world. Seoul Tourism Organization(STO) attracts increasing number of global tourists by promoting Seoul as Tourism·MICE city. STO also plays the role of a tourism platform so that various stakeholders in the tourism field, be it tourists or local residents, public sector organizations or corporations, or even academia, can communicate and coexist together.
Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA)
Established in 1990, the Adventure Travel Trade Association is the largest global network of adventure travel leaders. Our community is made up of ~30,000 individual guides, tour operators, lodges, travel advisors, tourism boards, destination marketing and management organizations, outdoor educators, gear companies and travel media who share a belief and commitment to sustainable tourism. The connections and creativity of this vibrant community come together both virtually and in person to create and deliver the solutions that propel our businesses and our communities toward a responsible and profitable future.
