Held alongside the PATA Annual Summit and PATA Travel Mart, the PATA Youth Symposium connects tourism students with experienced travel industry professionals to enhance their skills for career development and empower the next generation of tourism leaders.
Under the theme ‘The Future of Tourism’, the PATA Youth Symposium at Virtual PTM 2020 comprises a four-part series featuring an insights-packed keynote presentation by Euromonitor , a mentorship session for PATA Youths, a Student Chapter roundtable discussion and a panel discussion on “Getting a Job in a Post-COVID-19”.
Part 1: The Future of Tourism

PATA Youth Symposium kicks off with a keynote speech by Euromonitor, diving into big data and trends that help us predict the future. How will the tourism industry change as it adapts to a new normal? What kind of jobs will exist in 5 years time? What trends should we be keeping an eye on now? This session will be led by Mr. Hafizuddin Haslir, Regional Business Development Manager at Euromonitor International.
