Unveiling the Future of Travel Technology in Asia at Travel & Tech Asia 2025 – This July! 

 
 
 

Bangkok, Thailand - 24 January 2025 - The tourism industry is one of Thailand’s key economic pillars, driving substantial revenue and attracting visitors from around the globe to its world-renowned destinations. Recognized as a global leader in the tourism sector, Thailand is set to host a groundbreaking event to shape the future of travel technology.  

Travel & Tech Asia 2025, a collaborative initiative by VNU Asia Pacific and Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs, renowned for organizing cutting-edge technology exhibitions, will debut as Asia’s premier B2B platform focused on pioneering innovations in travel. The event will take place from July 2-3, 2025, at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok.  

The official press launch of Travel & Tech Asia 2025 was recently held, graced by Mr. Jakkaphon Tangsutthitham, Vice Minister for Tourism and Sports, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, who presided over the ceremony. The event featured a special panel discussion titled “The Future of Travel Technology in Asia”, joined by industry leaders and experts, panelists including:  

  • Mr. Noor Ahmad Hamid, Chief Executive Officer, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA)

  • Mr. Pariwat Wongsamran, Deputy Executive Director of Innovation System, National Innovation Agency (NIA)

  • Ms. Michelle Gao, Regional Manager for the Mekong and China, Booking.com

  • Ms. Angkana Tangkrachang, Area Director of Sales & Marketing, Landmark Lancaster Hotel Group

  • Ms. Panadda Kongma, Vice President-Business, VNU Asia Pacific  

Mr. Jakkaphon Tangsutthitham, Vice Minister for Tourism and Sports, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, addressed, “The Ministry of Tourism and Sports is committed to sustainably advancing Thailand's tourism industry through the adoption of cutting-edge technology.
