Dr. Mario Hardy

Former CEO, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA);
Vice President, Asia Pacific, World Rural Tourism Conference (WRTC)

Dr Hardy is the vice-chairman of the World Rural Tourism Conference, the Managing Director of Private Family Office MAP2 | Ventures, a board member of the Global Chamber of Business Leaders and also hold several advisory board positions with privately-owned technology companies. He is also the former CEO of the Pacific Asia Travel Association and has over 35 years of experience in corporate development and investment in technology, coupled with several leadership roles with non-profit organisations.

He received an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from Capilano University in 2016 and in 2017, Dr Hardy graduated from the Executive Program of Singularity University in Exponential Technologies and was honoured as a “Global Ambassador of Peace Through Tourism” by the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism.
