PATA Hong Kong SHTM Student Chapter: Connection with PATA Macau Chapter-Student Club
Hong Kong SAR, 17 January 2025 - The PATA Hong Kong SHTM Student Chapter organized a diverse site visit and tour to welcome the PATA Macau Chapter-Student Club to Hong Kong. The agenda included a range of networking events and site visits aimed at fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange between the two chapters.
Highlights of the Events:
Macau students enjoyed an informative guided tour led by the PATA Hong Kong SHTM Student Chapter, which included visits to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the School of Hotel and Tourism Management. This experience allowed Macau students to gain insights into Hong Kong's hospitality education.
The event began with a warm reception to introduce members from both chapters and set a collaborative tone. Dr. Neil Li, the Faculty Advisor of the PATA Hong Kong SHTM Student Chapter, shared valuable insights during the introduction. Following this, a Networking Luncheon provided an opportunity for students to network, share experiences, and discuss career aspirations in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the PATA Macau Chapter-Student Club for visiting Hong Kong. This event not only enriched participants' understanding of each other's cultures but also laid the groundwork for future collaboration in the tourism and hospitality fields.
