PATA Malaysia Taylor’s Student Chapter (PATA MTSC) Elects New Executive Committee (2021/2022)
Subang Jaya, Malaysia, 8th April 2021 - PATA Malaysia Taylor’s Student Chapter formed a new executive committee of 2021/2022 through a virtual election last 19 March 2021. The virtual election was conducted from 2 pm to 3.30 pm via a zoom application and chaired by Dr. Thanam Subramaniam (the advisor of PATA MTSC). Ms. Teresa Dines was elected as the new president among three candidates who stood up for the position. Before the virtual election process, all members were required to nominate suitable candidates in the prepared google link. This nomination process provided a great opportunity for all members to select the qualified person for the available positions and illustrated a fair election process.
The newly elected committee consists of 7 members, including President Ms. Teresa Dines, Vice-President Ms. Fionna Fernanda Bong, Secretary Ms. Jocelyn Rusli, Treasurer Ms. Kelly Andre, Head of Public Relations Ms. Corin Ramadhani, Head of Marketing Ms. Tiefanny Tandian and Head of Activity Ms. April Lim.
Dr. Thanam congratulated the new elected committee and encouraged everyone to provide the full commitment in all upcoming activities. She also thanked all old committee members for their continuous supports and commitment last year, especially in a pandemic situation. The newly elected president Ms. Teresa Dines used this opportunity to thank all members who voted for her and promised to show exemplary leadership to the new team. The session was ended at 3.30 pm after Dr.Thanam thanked all present.
