Meet Our New Interns!
We’ve had the pleasure to welcome seven new staff who join us as Intern Associates and help the association progress during these trying times in the second half of 2020. Let’s get to know them!
Akansha Dariyani (Akansha) - Membership Intern
Hey there! I am Akansha Dariyani, hailing from India. It is a matter of profound happiness to be a part of the Membership Department of PATA. As a Membership Relations Associate, my support includes membership retention through email communication, updating the database, and publishing news onto the official PATA site and social media channels.
I have been an avid traveller myself, setting on a quest every now and then to witness the unseen. That is how I developed an interest and became an ardent admirer of tourism. I also hold a BBA degree in Travels and Tourism from a premier Indian University and completed IATA Diploma from Canada, and 65+ Certification courses from leading universities of the world.
Anjana Sunil Kumar (Anna) - Youth Intern
Hi, I'm Anjana. I'm from India and everyone calls me Anna! As a Youth Associate, being part of the PATA Youth community has been an amazing learning experience.
Growing up in Dubai, I've always been exposed to multiple cultures and lifestyles. I especially love to travel and am always excited to learn new languages. Long drives with BTS songs on repeat is my favorite way to spend time. I'm really enthusiastic about youth empowerment, and I wish to give youth a platform to find the best versions of themselves. As a Youth Associate, I've been given an opportunity to contribute to youth development, and I'm ever grateful towards PATA for this experience!
An-Sheng Gong (Alice) - Marketing Intern
Chinese Taipei-raised girl currently studying Tourism and Events Management in Hong Kong, adoring Timothée Chalamet and Troye Sivan, binges on good indie music, and spending a great amount of free time at animal shelters - dogs are my one and only priority ;). I am obsessed with lots of things, especially traveling! Can’t wait to hop back on plane and selfie around the world!
Being a marketing intern, I get to be involved with ongoing projects. Many new tasks, many exciting plus eye-opening experiences. Working with PATA is such a dream come true (my wonderland), it offers countless learning opportunities and certainly pushed me many steps closer to my passion: marketing, sustainability, traveling. I am more than blessed to be a part of this great team!
