Dr. Jingjing Guan

Professor & Associate Dean at the school of tourism & urban - rural planning, Zhejiang Gongshang University

Professor. Dr. Jingjing Guan is the Associate Dean at the School of Tourism, Zhejiang Gongshang University. She holds a Ph.D. from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and completed her postdoctoral research at the School of Management, Zhejiang University. She was also a visiting scholar at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA, sponsored by the Chinese government. She was honored with the “Outstanding Young Teacher Award” by the Education Branch of the China Tourism Association and is selected for the Youth Tourism Talent Program by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.

Guan has led several national and provincial research grants, including National Natural Science Foundation projects, National Culture and Tourism Foundation projects, and Zhejiang Provincial Key Soft Science Projects. She has published over forty academic papers in prestigious international journals, most of which are indexed by SSCI, EI, and CSSCI. She has been awarded the second and third prizes for excellent research achievements in culture and tourism by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China in 2019 and 2022 respectively. She has also been involved in nearly twenty tourism planning and marketing projects.
