PATA BUV Student Chapter Hosts Aquaventure Field Trip to offer practical knowledge and hands-on experiences for students

Hanoi, Vietnam, 30th May 2024 - PATA BUV Student Chapter, the student-led organization at British University Vietnam, hosted Aquaventure Field Trip to offer practical knowledge and hands-on experiences for students. This was a sequence of events with 3 field trips organized on 3 days of April 2024.

On 19th April, Hospitality students embarked on a field trip to NacoTaco, a Mexican Tacos restaurant. Participants gained deeper insights into restaurant management and operation through a talk by Mr. Octavio, the owner of NacoTaco. They also enjoyed hands-on experience making tacos under the guidance of the restaurant's professional staff.

Tourism major students participated in a workshop at A Taste of Hanoi, a local travel agency on April 24th. The workshop focused on tour planning and implementation, with a specific emphasis on the hottest trend in tourism: food tours. Participants learned about the importance of cuisine and its impact on travel experiences by designing their own signature food tour in Hanoi.

The last event exploring the Night Tour at Thang Long Imperial Citadel was organized on April 26th for Event Students. The tour provided an opportunity to learn about the history of the Ly Dynasty through cultural performances and visits to archaeological sites. Students also gained valuable insights into event operation.

The Aquaventure Field Trip received many positive reviews, with students offering recommendations and expressing excitement for upcoming events.
