PATA India Christ University Student Chapter: Amadeus Workshop: Empowers Students with In-Depth GDS Knowledge
Bangalore, Karnataka, India, 23rd March 2024 – PATA India Christ University Student Chapter organized a comprehensive three-day Amadeus workshop held on March 18, 21, and 23 at Venue 207, engaging 31 student participants in a detailed exploration of the global distribution system (GDS) widely used by travel agents and companies worldwide. Led by experienced trainers, the workshop provided participants with hands-on exercises, simulations of real-world scenarios, and interactive sessions, ensuring an engaging and practical learning experience.
Participants delved into the fundamentals of Amadeus, including navigation, basic commands, and platform-specific terminology. The workshop emphasized proficiency in essential tasks such as flight searches, booking reservations, issuing tickets, and managing passenger information. This intensive training not only enhanced participants' efficiency in travel-related operations but also instilled confidence in their ability to handle diverse travel requirements effectively.
The Amadeus workshop proved to be an invaluable educational opportunity, equipping students with the practical knowledge and tools necessary for efficient travel management. By mastering Amadeus functionalities, participants are now better prepared to streamline their workflow, save time, and increase productivity in their future roles within the travel industry.

Founded in 2020, PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter is India’s first PATA Student Chapter.
