PATA India Christ University Student Chapter: Experience Luxury and Hospitality Excellence at Leela Bhartiya City
Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, 26th March 2024 – PATA India Christ University Student Chapter organized an enriching industry visit to Leela Bhartiya City, Bangalore, providing them with an in-depth look at the operations and luxurious amenities of a premier hotel. The visit began with an engaging presentation that delved into the history and ethos of Leela Bhartiya City, followed by a delightful high tea session that allowed for informal interactions with hotel staff and fellow visitors.
The comprehensive tour, led by knowledgeable staff, covered various areas of the hotel, including conference rooms, restaurants, spa, fitness center, kitchen, and lobby. Highlights included visits to Falak-Indian Traditional Restaurant and the Asian cuisine restaurant, where students experienced exquisite culinary delights. The tour also showcased the hotel’s state-of-the-art conference facilities, opulent spa, and fitness center, emphasizing the luxurious experiences provided to guests.
The visit concluded with an introduction to the Leela Development Program, which offers promising career opportunities for aspiring hotel management students through practical training and mentorship. This industry visit not only reinforced the students' appreciation for hospitality excellence but also inspired them with the high standards upheld by Leela Bhartiya City.

Founded in 2020, PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter is India’s first PATA Student Chapter. The organization is run by students of the tourism discipline of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) to benefit more than 250 members spanning across undergraduate and postgraduate tourism programmes in the university.
