PATA India Christ University Student Chapter: Campus Compass: Popularising the Student Chapter
Bangalore, Karnataka, India, 4th July 2024 - PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter in collaborationwith the University Student Council organised “Campus Compass” on 4th July 2024. This engaging event aimed to popularise the Student Chapter, boost student engagement, and strengthen the sense of community and collaboration among students. Attracting over 250 attendees, Campus Compass featured various interactive sessions, informative presentations, and dedicated networking opportunities. These elements were all designed to foster a vibrant and collaborative student environment, encouraging participation and engagement in chapter activities. The event’s success highlights the tourism department’s commitment to nurturing future leaders.
The campus Compass also conducted quizzes for the students so that they get to know more about the places around the world. Paper planes were also made and flown around the campus to attract the crowd and engage them in Various campus activities. It also helps them to learn valuable skills and understanding that would help them in their chosen field by providing them with a platform for learning and engaging through different activities, quizzes and interactive sessions that are held on campus.
About PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter:
Founded in 2020, PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter is India’s first PATA Student Chapter. The organization is run by students of the tourism discipline of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) to benefit more than 250 members spanning across undergraduate and postgraduate tourism programmes in the university. The members are encouraged to participate in activities hosted by the chapter, focusing on various industry concerns, including sustainability and industry development.
