PATA India Christ University Student Chapter: Jharokha 2024: Department Alumni Meet
Bangalore, Karnataka, India, 10th February 2024 - PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter in collaboration with the Department of Tourism Management at Christ (Deemed to be University) celebrated its Alumni Meet, "Jharokha 2024," on February 10th at the Mini Auditorium, Bannerghatta Road Campus. The event, attended by 30 alumni, featured a welcome by host Sivesh and a speech by Lakshmi, both from 4 MTTM. The program included a welcome dance, song, and a report on the department's progress by Jharokha head Pooja, highlighting international collaborations and departmental achievements. Engaging activities, led by Sthiti Pujari, such as a nostalgic bingo game and tourist destination riddles, were thoroughly enjoyed. Professors and alumni Dr. Suja John and Dr. Nagarjuna G shared their memorable experiences, fostering a sense of community.
Jharokha 2024 was a resounding success, offering alumni a platform to reconnect and celebrate their shared journey. The well-organized event, filled with fun activities and meaningful interactions, set a high standard for future alumni gatherings, ensuring the continued strength of bonds formed at Christ University.

Founded in 2020, PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter is India’s first PATA Student Chapter. The organization is run by students of the tourism discipline of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) to benefit more than 250 members spanning across undergraduate and postgraduate tourism programmes in the university. The members are encouraged to participate in activities hosted by the chapter, focusing on various industry concerns, including sustainability and industry development.
