PATA India Christ University Student Chapter: Gracias 2024: Thanksgiving and Networking Event
Bangalore, Karnataka, India, 10th February 2024 - PATA India Christ University Student Chapter in collaboration with the Department of Tourism Management at Christ (Deemed to be University), Bannerghatta Road Campus, hosted the "Gracias" event on February 10th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Balcony of the Mini Auditorium. This thanksgiving and networking event was an integral part of Exodus 2024: Tourism for Global Harmony and aimed to express gratitude towards industry partners and foster connections between students, professors, alumni, and professionals from tourism and hospitality companies.
The event was led by Edison Eugene, Pranav B.R, Sahil Gandhi, Sharan, and Shefin from 4MTTM, and saw participation from prominent companies such as Traaexplore, My Roomie Group, Pow Wow Marketing, and Infor Group. Representatives from these companies, including Mr Vansh, Mr Madhuram Choudhary, Mr Tejas Acharya, Mr Akshay V., and Mr Pavan Sudheendra, attended the event.
Gracias provided a unique platform for students to engage with industry leaders, share their internship and project experiences, and extend their appreciation. The event successfully highlighted the importance of industry-academic collaboration, inspiring continued partnership and fostering a bright, sustainable future for the tourism sector.

Founded in 2020, PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter is India’s first PATA Student Chapter. The organization is run by students of the tourism discipline of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) to benefit more than 250 members spanning across undergraduate and postgraduate tourism programmes in the university. The members are encouraged to participate in activities hosted by the chapter, focusing on various industry concerns, including sustainability and industry development.
