PATA India Christ University Student Chapter: Tourism Trailblazers: Exodus 2024: Tourism for Global Harmony
Bangalore, Karnataka, India, 10th February 2024 - PATA India Christ University Student Chapter in collaboration with the Department of Tourism Management at Christ (Deemed to be University), Bannerghatta Road Campus, successfully conducted Exodus 2024 on February 9th and 10th. As part of this annual flagship event, the "Travelitez" quiz was held on February 10th from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Mini Auditorium. The high-level corporate quiz was designed for companies in the tourism and hospitality sector and aimed to foster industry collaboration and innovation.
The event was presided over by Mr. Arul Mani, Dean of the School of Languages at St. Joseph’s University, Bangalore, serving as the Quizmaster. A total of four companies participated: Traaexplore, My Roomie Group, Pow Wow Marketing, and Infor Group, with each team represented by both corporate and student participants. The quiz featured four challenging rounds with visual questions, engaging participants in a dynamic and competitive environment.
Pow Wow Marketing's Mr. Akshay V emerged as the winner, with Infor Group's Mr. Pawan Sreevathsa as the runner-up. Travelitez showcased the expertise and dedication of professionals within the tourism and hospitality sectors, contributing to a memorable and enriching experience for all involved. The event highlighted the importance of knowledge exchange and industry collaboration in promoting global harmony through tourism.

Founded in 2020, PATA India CHRIST University Student Chapter is India’s first PATA Student Chapter. The organization is run by students of the tourism discipline of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) to benefit more than 250 members spanning across undergraduate and postgraduate tourism programmes in the university. The members are encouraged to participate in activities hosted by the chapter, focusing on various industry concerns, including sustainability and industry development.
