Subang Jaya, Malaysia, 20th May 2021 - The School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events (SHTE), Taylor's University and PATA Malaysia Taylor's Student Chapter (PATA MTSC) organized their virtual HEX Talk Tourism entitled “Is Malaysia Ready for the 'Vaccine Passport?”. This virtual HEX talk aimed to share and highlight the public awareness and acceptance level of an eventual 'vaccine passport' initiative while discussing its impacts on the Hospitality and tourism industries.

The PATA Canada Vancouver Student Chapter’s dedicated executive members are still working diligently to produce the podcasts. This podcast is the third episode to be released during the 2021 series. More podcast episodes are scheduled to release monthly this year.

Singapore, 22 March 2021 - Three PATA Student Chapters came together to forge new bonds and learning experiences. Titled Exploring Asia, a three-part collaboration between Singapore Temasek Polytechnic, Philippines LPU-Manila and Korea (ROK) Woosong University Student Chapters took place from 16th of March 2021 to 22nd of March 2021. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, this collaboration was done online through Zoom. Through these three-part events, all student chapters hoped to expose members to each country’s different cultures - Singapore, Korea and the Philippines.

This MoU was anchored by PATA Malaysia Taylor’s Student Chapter (PATA MTSC) last 1st December 2020. The MoU, namely strategic Partnership is aimed to provides a platform between Taylor’s University and Malaysia Tourism Council to exchange knowledge and skills in the teaching and learning process, build collaboration with research projects and support the internship placement to the students.

Eco-enzyme is one of the long-term projects of PATA Lombok Tourism Polytechnic Student Chapter. This program is also commonly called “garbage enzyme”, a multipurposed liquid from fermentation of organic waste.
